Abstract:
The section model of B-type sleeve lap weld is established by computer simulation software and the full coverage detection of acoustic beam is simulated. The phased array ultrasonic "triangle area analysis method" is proposed to evaluate the defects. The results show that the phased array ultrasonic testing technology is stable and reliable for the B-type sleeve lap weld defect detection results. The simulation model can effectively guide the design of the phased array ultrasonic testing process for the B-type sleeve lap weld, directly display the coverage state of the ultrasonic beam in the weld, overcome the blindness of the parameter setting of phased array ultrasonic testing, and provide reference for the non-destructive testing of special weld defects of the structure.
