Phased array ultrasonic testing for the lap weld of B-type sleeve

摘要: 通过计算机仿真软件建立B型套筒搭接焊缝截面模型并模拟进行声束全覆盖检测,提出了采用相控阵超声“三角区域分析法”对缺陷进行评判。结果表明,相控阵超声检测技术对B型套筒搭接焊缝缺陷检测的结果稳定可靠,仿真模型可有效地指导B型套筒搭接焊缝相控阵超声检测工艺的设计,能直观地显示超声波束在焊缝中的覆盖状态,克服相控阵超声检测参数设置的盲目性,为特殊结构焊缝的无损检测提供借鉴。Abstract: The section model of B-type sleeve lap weld is established by computer simulation software and the full coverage detection of acoustic beam is simulated. The phased array ultrasonic "triangle area analysis method" is proposed to evaluate the defects. The results show that the phased array ultrasonic testing technology is stable and reliable for the B-type sleeve lap weld defect detection results. The simulation model can effectively guide the design of the phased array ultrasonic testing process for the B-type sleeve lap weld, directly display the coverage state of the ultrasonic beam in the weld, overcome the blindness of the parameter setting of phased array ultrasonic testing, and provide reference for the non-destructive testing of special weld defects of the structure.
