Abstract:
The research on the structure design of the transient electromagnetic sensor probe is first introduced. The principle of the transient electromagnetic detection technology is described and its shortcomings, such as the lack of focus, large coverage and low energy are analyzed. Then a new type of sensor is designed according to requirements. Finite element simulation software is used to build a sensor model to simulate its detection capabilities, and comparison with the traditional sensor simulation results shows that compared with the traditional probe, the results show that the magnetic field distribution range of the focusing probe is reduced by 42%, and the central magnetic induction intensity is enhanced by 36. 78% as compared with the one of using traditional coil. The comparison results determine the rationality and effectiveness of the focus structure. It provides key components for the local detection of transient electromagnetic methods on buried metal pipelines, ensures detection accuracy and detection efficiency, and further provides reference value for the optimal design and application of transient electromagnetic method probes.
