Abstract:
Wire rope is used as the stressed component of load carrying wire rope of strop ropeway. The safety and reliability of wire rope are closely related to the normal operation of equipment and the personal safety of passengers. At present, manual visual inspection is mainly used for the detection of load carrying wire rope of strop ropeway, which is prone to miss inspection. In order to solve this technical problem, the feasibility of residual magnetism testing method was verified by applying it to multiple groups of expired load carrying wire rope of strop ropeway that needed to be replaced in a certain scenic spot. It can make comprehensively assessment about the safety status of wire rope and eliminate the potential safety risks. It provides the basis for replacement and maintenance reference for the user and provides a research basis for the revision of relevant standards of wire rope of strop ropeway later.
