Near-field eddy current testing of the aluminum finned ferromagnetic tubes

摘要: 针对铁磁性材料铝翅片管的在役检测难的问题,使用近场涡流探头对铁磁性材料铝翅片管的在役检测开展了试验研究。结果表明:该方法可检出铁磁性材料铝翅片管的穿透性凹坑和轴向裂纹、内/外壁周向裂纹和外壁大面积壁厚损失等缺陷;对支撑结构边缘及内部的缺陷仍具有一定检出性。Abstract: Aluminum finned ferromagnetic tubes are widely used in heat exchangers. It's in-service inspection is difficult in NDT technology. This paper shows research on near field eddy current testing technique in Aluminum finned ferromagnetic tubes inspection. The result shows that this technique has the ability to detect through hole and axial cracks, inner or outer wall circumferential cracks and large area wall thinning. The defect on edge or below the support plate can also be detected in some extent.
