In-service detection of defects on coiled tubing using the alternating current field measurement

摘要: 针对连续油管裂纹缺陷,开展了基于交流电磁场(ACFM)的连续油管缺陷在线检测技术研究,建立了连续油管缺陷的ACFM仿真模型,提取了裂纹特征信号,搭建了连续油管缺陷在线检测系统,并开展了检测试验。结果表明:该检测系统能够快速高效地检测和评估连续油管表面的裂纹缺陷,为服役期间的连续油管在线实时检测提供了一项新技术。Abstract: Aiming at the feature of defects on coiled tubing, this paper presents an in-service detection technology for coiled tubing based on alternating current field measurement(ACFM). The ACFM simulation model of cracks on coiled tubing is set up and the characteristic signal of cracks is extracted. The in-service detection system for defects on coiled tubing is developed and the crack inspection experiments are carried out on coiled tubing specimen. The results show that it can detect and evaluate the defects on coiled tubing quickly and efficiently based on the ACFM system. It provides a new technology for online real-time inspection of coiled tubing in service.
