The acoustic emission testing in SPV355N spherical tank and analysis of defect causes

摘要: 对材料为SPV355N,容积为2 000 m3的某球罐进行在线声发射检测时,发现其具有大量的活性缺陷,通过综合分析其在升压和保压过程中的声发射信号特征,以及利用超声波衍射时差法(TOFD)、超声检测(UT)等无损检测方法进行复验,确定了缺陷的类型和几何尺寸,将其与同类型其他材料球罐的检测结果进行对比,进而分析缺陷产生的原因,并最终完成了对球罐的安全评价。Abstract: An acoustic emission inspection for a 2 000 m3 spherical tank with super active crack defects is carried out. The characteristics and sources of crack acoustic emission signal in pressure rising and maintaining process are analyzed. Using nondestructive testing methods such as TOFD and UT, the type and geometry size of the defects were determined, and the reason for the defect formation was combined. Finally, the evaluation of the safety performance of the spherical tank was completed.
