Abstract:
The research on nondestructive testing for bonding defects of solar cells is presented in this paper. The experiments for testing of bonding defects were respectively carried out by infrared thermal wave testing and air-coupled ultrasonic testing, and the testing results were compared and analyzed. The research shows that the bonding defects of solar cells can be detected by infrared thermal wave testing and air coupled ultrasonic testing, while infrared thermal wave testing shows more rapid test speed and is undisturbed by the substrate on the rear of solar cells.
