Nonlinear Ultrasonic Assessment Method for Fatigue Damage of Carbon Fiber Composite

摘要: 对T700型碳纤维复合材料进行不同应力比作用下的疲劳损伤试验,利用非线性超声检测技术对施加不同疲劳周次后的试件进行测量,以获取不同工况下复合材料疲劳损伤过程中的非线性系数。结果表明,疲劳试件在疲劳寿命的50%左右时,相对非线性系数对材料特性的影响程度比较大,可以作为材料疲劳损伤评价的特征参量之一。Abstract: The fatigue damage testing of T700 carbon fiber composite under different stress ratios was carried out, and the nonlinear coefficient values in the fatigue damage process of the composite under different working conditions were obtained by using the nonlinear ultrasonic testing technology to measure the specimens which were applied with different fatigue cycles. It demonstrated that when the fatigue life was about 50%, the relative nonlinear coefficient was sensitive to the change of mechanical properties of materials. It can be used as a characteristic parameter for evaluating fatigue damage of materials.
