Abstract:
Now there are few researches on the acoustic emission detection of pressure vessels for titanium at home and abroad. This article studied the characteristics of AE of this material from the plates and the pressure vessel. The conclusion of the test was that the sensors can be arranged at not less than 4.5m apart on the plate or the pressure vessel made of the industrial titanium, and the lower limits of the AE source intensity for location can be 60 dB. The acoustic emission parameters obtained from this experiment provide some data support for the detection and research of the acoustic emission of the pressure vessel.
