Phased Array CIVA Simulation and Detection of Typical Base Metal Defects in Pressure Equipment

  • 摘要: 承压设备在制造和使用过程中,母材部位容易出现内部分层、表面裂纹、氢致开裂、氢鼓包、内部凹坑腐蚀、复合板和堆焊层未结合等缺陷。针对较为典型的三类缺陷进行了相控阵CIVA仿真,研究了母材部分的检测工艺,并进行了现场检测验证试验,与仿真结果进行了比对,总结了各类缺陷图谱的特点。结果表明:相控阵检测技术对于承压设备母材部位的缺陷具有较高的检出率,可在设备不开罐、不清管的工况下对承压设备进行母材部位缺陷的检测,以为化工企业节约成本,提供便利。
    Abstract: During the manufacture and use of pressure-bearing equipment, defects such as internal delamination, surface cracks, hydrogen-induced cracking, hydrogen bulging, internal pit corrosion, composite plates, and unbonding layers are prone to occur in the base material. In this paper, the phased array CIVA simulation is carried out for three typical defects. The inspection process of the base metal part is mainly studied, and the on-site inspection and verification are carried out. The simulation results are compared with the on-site inspection, and the features of various defect maps are summarized. The results show that the phased array inspection technology has a high detection rate for the defect of the base material of the pressure equipment, and can realize the detection of the defects of the base material under the conditions of running, thus helping the chemical companies to save costs and provide convenience.
