Ultrasonic Inspection of AFA 3G Failure Fuel Rod

摘要: 针对Lamb波在内壁介质为湿沙的燃料棒包壳的传播过程中,能量会部分泄漏到包壳内湿沙中的问题,通过对比燃料棒破损前后超声A扫回波信号和B扫成像的变化规律,确定了燃料组件超声检测方式和数据分析方法;实现了组件中破损燃料棒的精确定位。Abstract: Experiments are carried out on wet sand loaded fuel rods, and it is found that the Lamb wave energy will leak into the wet sand in the shell. By comparing the A-scan signal and B-scan images of fuel rods before and after the failure, the method of ultrasonic inspection and data analyzing are determined, which can locate the failure fuel rod accurately.
