Abstract:
As the vacuum loading influencing factors of laser shearography testing are complicated, it is not easy to select suitable parameters. Finite element simulation model of the vacuum laser shearography is applied to simulate T300/QY8911 carbon fiber reinforced composite with impact damages. The simulation results show that many factors including the size and position of delaminations, and the vacuum pressure have a strong influence on testing results. Furthermore, experiments give similar results. So Solid46 model can be used to forecast testing results which is very helpful for laser shearography testing process making of composite material.
