Abstract:
The steam generator divider plate in PWR of M310 is made of nickel-based alloys. The study shows that nickel-based alloys could be possibly sensitive to PWSCC. Remote operated automatic inspection device and tools have been developed in order to inspect the PWSCC of the steam generator divider plate, aiming to ensure the integrity and reliability of the primary circuit and to minimize the radiation dose of the personnel performing the inspections. The inspection device consists of the auto liquid penetrant, the CCTV and TOFD. Auto liquid penetrant and CCTV techniques used to determine the length of the indications have been developed and qualified, and the TOFD inspection technique is used to determine the depth of the indications.
