Influence of Forging Parameters on Microstructure and Ultrasonic Velocity of TC4 Forging

摘要: TC4中的α和β相的显微组织直接影响到材料的可靠性和寿命,采用有效的超声无损评价方法可以对TC4的组织进行评价。对不同锻造参数条件下TC4试块的超声波声速进行分析,并对照其金相组织数据,得出结论:声速与初生α相的组织分布有一定的相关性关系,α相的组织直接影响到超声波的声速。Abstract: The microstructure of α and β phases in TC4 has a direct impact on the reliability and life of the material. An effective ultrasonic nondestructive evaluation method can be used to evaluate the forging microstructure of TC4. The ultrasonic velocities under various forging parameter conditions of TC4 were analyzed in reference to its metallographic microstructures. The fact is that the velocity and the primary α phase have certain correlation relations, and the organization of α phase is directly affected by the ultrasonic velocity.
