The Ultrasonic Phased Array Inspection of Stern Tube Shaft

摘要: 艉轴管属于大型管状铸锻件,使用常规超声方法对其进行检测时,内壁检测区域大,手工检测效率低,工程实施性差。考虑到超声相控阵检测技术具有C扫描成像功能、动态深度聚焦功能及扫查速度快等特点,将相控阵超声技术应用于艉轴管的检测中,并使用常规超声检测对艉轴管进行复检;对比两者检测结果,验证了设计的艉轴管超声相控阵检测方案是可行、可靠的,并且具有常规超声检测无法比拟的检测优势。Abstract: As a kind of large tubular casting and forging, the stern tube shaft was usually detected by conventional ultrasonic testing method, resulting to low manual inspection efficiency and poor engineering implementation due to its large inspection area of the inner wall. Considering the C scan imaging function, the characteristics of dynamic depth focusing function and scanning speed of ultrasonic phased array testing technology, the ultrasonic phased array technique is applied to detect such stern tube shafts. Comparison with the results of conventional ultrasonic testing has proven that the designed scheme of ultrasonic phased array for stern tube shaft is feasible, reliable and has incomparable advantages.
