Application of High-Frequency Narrow-Pulse Probe in Ultrasonic Testing of Small Diameter Thin-Walled Zirconium Alloy Tube

  • 摘要: 针对锆合金小径薄壁管在超声检测时,要求检测灵敏度一般为壁厚的5%,且管材壁厚较薄(小于1 mm)又易造成内外壁缺陷分辨困难的问题,重点分析了高频窄脉冲探头对检测灵敏度和分辨力的影响,选取了3个不同参数的探头对分析结果进行验证,确定了在检测锆合金小径薄壁管时选择探头的方法。
    Abstract: In the ultrasonic testing of nuclear zirconium alloy thin-walled tube, the sensitivity of detection of defects generally requires for approximately 5% of wall thickness. Because of the tube wall thickness being less than 1 mm, it is difficult to distinguish between inside and outside wall defect and hence the testing system needs very high detection sensitivity and resolution in order to meet the requirement of automatic testing. This paper focuses on the analysis of the influence of high frequency narrow pulse probe on the detection sensitivity and resolution. Three different parameters of the probe were selected to verify the analysis results, and the method of selecting probe was determined in the detection of small diameter thin-walled zirconium alloy tube.
