Abstract: Nondestructive testing (NDT) has taken a very important role in modern aeronautical industry as a quality control technical approach of aeronautical products. The technical benefits and actions as well as possible applications of NDT in aeronautical industry are reviewed. The recent main progress of NDT based on the works of the author's team work has been reported. The future primary development tendencies and directions in aeronautical NDT are proposed in this paper.
