Abstract:
In order to meet the requirements of the supporting structural health monitoring, a wireless safety monitoring system is proposed based on ZigBee and GPRS technologies. The safety monitoring system of support structure is a wireless communication system based on GPRS and ZigBee. The strain and angle data collected from the strain gauge and the angle sensor installed on the supporting structure are transmitted to the host computer through GPRS technology. Many factors need to be considered in the practical engineering application of the complex system due to multiple auxiliary equipments and the long application cycle. In this paper, the key points of engineering application and construction procedures are analyzed. The system has been successfully applied to some construction sites. It has a good guiding significance for the successful application of all kinds of safety monitoring system.
