Abstract: The concrete is one of the most important materials of modern civil engineering, properties and construction quality of concrete structure are directly related to the safety of concrete structure and construction works. Therefore, strengthening the quality of concrete testing and control, is the essential part to ensure the quality of the building(structure).Based on the strength and defect detection of concrete, firstly the basic principles, and applicable scope of nondestructive testing methods for concrete were expounded. And then the application of various methods was analyzed briefly. At last,the development trend and emerging application of nondestructive testing methods for concrete in the future were prospected.
