Abstract:
In industrial production, when the damage and losses caused by corrosion have occurred, it not only reduces the reliability and service life of structures and pressure vessels, also poses a threat to the social economy and people′s lives and property safety. Thus, monitoring and forecast related to corrosion should also have received attention. This article will use acoustic emission method to monitor pitting test handling equipment commonly used in industry and pressure vessels of 304 stainless steel. The acoustic emission signals by pitting in 6% FeCl
3·6H
2O solution shall be collected and the change law and characteristics of pitting acoustic emission signal feature parameter shall be summarized up to provide basic data for the industrial field inspection applications.
