Abstract: The coating film and optical image measuring method were employed for the appraisal of the quality parameter of flat bottom hole. The difficult problem of how to test the internal form of flat bottom hole was solved. In order to ensure the accuracy of ultrasonic testing results, the planeness of the bottom and its diameter, depth and parallel degree of flat bottom hole were checked by using ultrasonic testing method.
