Development of an Ultrasonic Probe Capable of Displaying Pressure from the Operator

摘要: 手动超声检测扫查时,回波信号与操作者对探头施加压力的大小有密切关系。为消除回波信号差异引起的缺陷评定分歧,在常规超声探头的基础上,结合电子秤的原理,通过添加压电传感器、数模转换器、信号灯等结构,设计制造了一种新型的可显示操作者施加压力大小的超声探头,可有效提高评定结果的一致性和可靠性。Abstract: In manual ultrasonic testing, there is a close relationship between return signals and the press habits of operator. In order to reduce assessment differences caused by different return signals, a new type ultrasonic probe which can show pressures from the operator has been developed. On the basis of frequently-used type and combined with the principle of electric scale, the new type probe was refitted by adding several electronic components such as piezoelectric sensor, digital to analog converter and signal lamp. Both consistency and reliability of defects assessment have been improved effectively.
