The Simulation of TOFD Testing in Thick Walled Asymmetry Butt Weld

摘要: 以厚壁不对称对接焊缝为对象, 通过建模和仿真模拟分析厚壁不对称对接焊缝超声衍射时差(TOFD)信号传播规律;采用不同角度楔块和探头组合进行修正, 研究了不同探头组合在不对称焊缝中信号的传播规律, 验证了超声衍射时差检测方法在大厚壁不对称焊缝中的实际检测应用的可行性, 为实际检测工作提供指导。Abstract: Aiming at the thick walled asymmetry weld, this paper analyzed the TOFD signal propagation regularities of thick walled asymmetry weld through modeling and simulation. Combination of different angle wedges and probe revisions was adopted and different probes were used to study the signal propagation regularities in asymmetry weld. The feasibility of using TOFD testing method for asymmetry weld in practical testing application was verified, and it provided guidance in the practical detection.
