Abstract: This paper discusses the characteristics of acoustic emission technology, introduces the principle of acoustic emission technology in pipeline leak detection, and aims to find a method for pipeline leak detection and location by using acoustic emission technique. The strategy and policy of applying acoustic e mission technique for pipeline leakage detection is described, which should have some practical significance.
