Abstract: In this paper, the same flaws in butt weld are tested using radiographic test and ultrasonic test, and the quality classifications are made according to ship standards CB/T 3558-2011 & CB/T 3559-2011. The results show that conclusions for the same weld flaws may exhibit big differences while using the two nondestructive test methods.
