Abstract: The paper introduces ultrasonic test of butt joint for the LNG storage tank (plate sheet material:06Ni9DR,weld filler:ENiCrMo-6,plate wall thickness:6 mm) and describes how to prepare test block,probe and instrument equipments and how to identify defects etc.It′s helpful for the technician.
