    Testing of the Flaws in Inner and Outer Surfaces of Thin Wall Bearing Carriage with Transverse Wave

    • A special ultrasonic transducer was designed to detect both inner and outer defects on thin wall bearing carriage. The couplant was injected through a hole in the wedge, the location and size of the piezoelectric crystal plate were calculated. Testing of the flaw on the inner or outer surface of the bearing carriage showed that it worked effectively, and it could be used in the online testing of the similar products.
