    Terahertz Spectroscopy of Explosives and the Related Compounds

    • Experimental measurement and theoretical analysis of THz spectrum for two pure materials and some mixed explosive samples were introduced. The refractive index and absorption coefficient of the samples were measured in the region of 0.2~2.5 terahertz by time-domain spectroscopy(THz-TDS). The absorption spectra were obtained correspondingly. The obtained results indicated the THz-TDS technology could identify the different explosives and roughly analyse the main ingredients of the mixed samples.
