Acoustic Emission Study of Bond-Slip Between Helical Rib Wire and Concrete

    • Acoustic emission technique(AET), as a new type of dynamic non-destructive testing method, can detect the bond-slip abilities of the existing reinforced concrete structure dynamically. Pull-out test was carried out with the specimen composed of helical rib wire and concrete. AE characteristic signals of the course of pull-out was processed and analysed by AET for purpose of gaining the AE characteristic of bond-slip. The AE source was located by using the 3D TDOA location method. The results showed that the AE sources were mainly located in the interface, which were in line with the actual results of stress; Finally, the relationship between the load case during the bond failure and the energy parameter of AE was established.
