Inspection and Quantification for Hydrogenation Reactor Flange Sealing Groove Crack

    • Through experimental research, the application of time of flight diffraction (TOFD) ultrasonic testing technology in the crack detection and quantification for hydrogenation reactor flange sealing groove was realized. The testing defect sensitivity was achieved 5 mm×1 mm (length×height), the crack height measurement error was less than 0.5 mm. The technology could be applied to the flange sealing groove crack detection and quantification of many specifications and materials.
