The Application of Magnetic Particle Testing Technology in Weld Testing of SA335P92 Steel

SA335P92 steel was selected in the main pipe of ultra supercritical thermal power. This material was easy to produce cold and hot crack in welding because of martensite steel. Arc hole crack appeared easily, especially on the place of ending arc welding surface of joint. The paper discussed the method of magnetic particle testing applying on welding surface and near surface of SA335P92 and put forward the control measure about avoiding crack on butt joint.
