    The Detection of Pressure Pipeline Corrosion Using Infrared Thermography

    • According to the present situation of pressure pipeline operation company and based on the analysis of pipe wall temperature and corrosion thinning relationship, the infrared thermal image instrument was selected to explore and practice in the field for pressure piping, and then for pipes in question thickness gauges were used to measure the thickness of the pipe. By so doing, the work efficiency was improved and the coverage of thickness measurement was increased thus to avoid corrosion thinning pipelines undetected.
