Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Testing Method of Induction Hardened Layer Thickness

This paper introduced a method to measure the hardened layer thickness while the high measurement accuracy wasn't necessary, the method was based on the magnetic ability difference between hardened layer of material and substrate material. The magnetic marks characteristics in hardened layer fluorescent magnetic testing were introduced in detail, and combining with authors experiment, the objects and situations appropriated to the method were summarized.
