The Detection of a Certain Aircraft Aluminum Casting Based on Digital Radiography

Aluminum casting is becoming the key material as to aviation manufacturing. In this paper, digital radiographic testing technology was adopted and the ideal detective parameters of certain type of aircraft aluminum casting were given following the comparisons between many test and detection images. At the same time, gray linear change and relief enhancement technique used to enhance the image contrast and improve the sensitivity.
