A Method of Tracking and Precisely Locating Submarine In-line Inspection Tool

Aiming to determine the position of pipeline internal detector when pipeline internal detection technology being applied in submarine pipeline, a new method of tracking and precisely locating pipeline internal detector is proposed in this paper to locate the detector, which is verified to be feasible according to the simulation with OLGA software. In addition, the whole structure of tracking and precisely locating system that has great significance and practical value is given in this paper.
