The Application of Metal Magnetic Memory Testing to the Estimation of a Heat Treatment Technology

The application of metal magnetic memory testing was described. It was shown that the technology did well in reducing the stress of weld and that the designed aim was finished by the data of magnetic flux leakage, gained before and after the heat treatment of weld. It was also proved that metal magnetic memory technology could monitor well the stress condition of weld. It is possible to evaluate a heat treatment technology, designed by some pressure vessel manufacturers.
