    Finite Element Simulation to the Effect of Transmission Spectrum by Holes

    • Based on the principle of the finite element method, a two-dimensional finite element model with a hole is studied by simulation. The snapshots display the effect to ultrasonic propagation by a hole, and the accuracy of results is confirmed by the A-scan curves. With the characteristics of frequency and the sensitivity frequency obtained from the spectral analysis of the transmission information, we can recognize the different size of holes.
