Definition and Preservation on Original Digital Image in Digital Radiography

Original digital image in digital radiography needs appropriate archiving, and the definition of original digital image need to be specified first. It indicates following the analysis that the: original digital image should be the raw image from digital detector after calibration; better visual effect can be achieved by image processing techniques on original image. The original data should not be overwritten by some improper processing and management and archiving of original digital image can be done effectively by using database method.
