The Application of SAFT Imaging Technique in the Rod Ultrasonic Imaging Inspecting

The advanced SAFT imaging technique is used for inspecting wrought titanium alloy rod with ultrasonic, and the SAFT technique is improved to make it suitable for the rod inspection. Both SAFT images and Bscan images of the testing rod are rebuilt. Comparing the SAFT imaging and Bscan technique, it shows that the SAFT imaging technique can enhance the flaw signal and increase the inspecting sensibility.
