    Terahertz Nondestructive Inspection for Adhesive Face with Composite Materials and Steel Plate

    • Based on the analysis of terahertz nondestructive inspection technology, the adhesive faces with composite materials and steel plate were tested with Germany SynViewScan 300 consecutive terahertz imaging system, and the feasibility of terahertz nondestructive inspection technique for adhesive quality was studied. The results showed that terahertz wave could pass through the composite materials, the adhesive quality of sample and sheet plate was estimated with the two-dimension terahertz imaging of adhesive face, and the requirements of nondestructive inspection were satisfied. The studies provided strong technical support for composite materials adhesive quality and off sticky situation test.
