Principle and Technique Essentials of Ultrasonic TOFD

A brief account of the basic principle of time of flight diffraction(TOFD) technique, the typical arrangement of the probe pair, the key requirements of the test system, and the performance essentials of inspect procedure were presented. The intention was to provide “a helping hand” for spreading and applying the new technology in China.
