Fabrication and Application of Reference Block for Austenitic Stainless Steel Butt Welded Joint

The manufacturing process, machining requirements and application of reference block for austenitic stainless steel butt welded joint were introduced. A detailed description of welding quality control for butt welding of test block was presented. The using method of the reference block was described also.It was helpful for nondestructive testing personal in austenitic stainless steel butt welding ultrasonic testing.
