Acoustic Emission Monitoring of Fatigue Damages of Landing Gear Components During Its Controlling Test

    • The acoustic emission(AE) real time monitoring of fatigue damages of landing gear components during its controlling test was introduced. Under severe environmental noise caused by shock and vibration, the combination of trend analysis and correlation analysis of AE parameters were used, the real time monitoring of multi-part and dynamic objects was realized, and the actuator leaking and linkage wearing were successfully predicted. The characters of the methods were straight forward and direct, fast analysis speed and real time monitoring. Present work could provide a useful reference for AE signal processing in the forthcoming full size aircraft fatigue test or for AE monitoring technique used in the same environment of high background noise.
