Gear Fault Analysis System Based on LabVIEW and Sound Card

Based on LabVIEW and the sound card instead of the commercial data acquisition card, a set of gear fault analysis system was developed. This system was able to realize noise signal gathering, power spectrum analysis as well as gear meshing frequency functions and so on computations, and to discover the causes of gear break down intuitively and rapidly.
