Sensitivity Comparison of Liquid Penetrant Testing on Different Materials at Low Temperature

    • Generally liquid penetrant testing is generally performed at temperature from 10℃ to 50℃. At other temperature, particularly at low temperature the sensitivity may be affected. This sensitivity experiment used various liquid penetrant materials made by deferent manufacturers at normal temperature and at low temperature, and it got the sensitivity characteristics of deferent type liquid penetrant materials. Some measures are present to guarantee the sensitivity of liquid penetrant testing at low temperature.
