The action between the structure of the great thickness austenitic stainless steel weld and the different vibration type of ultrasonic was studied, and an effective ultrasonic inspection method using the distance-breadth calendar to examine flaw of austenitic stainless steel weld was got by experiment, By the method, the problem that the default coursed by anisotropic and gross crystal grain of austenite stainless steel weld was solved, and the testing accuracy was increased.
