Effect of Ultrasonic Wave Attenuation on the Defect Quantification in the Welds of Austenitic Stainless Steel

Ultrasonic wave attenuation is serious in the welds of austenitic stainless steel．Effect of ultrasonic wave attenuation on the defect quantification is very significant. In order to get accurate quantitative defect, this paper gave three calculation methods of attenuation and defect quantification.
