Development and Application of A Portable Infrared Thermal Wave Nondestructive Testing System

The paper introduces a portable IR NDT system which is self-developed and domestic.The system contains a variety of thermal excitation method,and two trigger methods of internal and external means.Users can select the appropriate method to detect.The software of the system with independent intellectual property rights uses a unique data reconstruction algorithm,can increase the signal and denoise.The test of the composite specimens by using the system shows that it is good for inspecting the defect of composite material sample.It has a unique advantage for inspecting the sample which is of low thermal conductivity or thick.
