    Research on Quantification of Defect Based on Position Point of Intersection with Pulsed Eddy Current Technology

    • In quantitative detecting of corrosion with PEC technology, the conventional eigenvalue is difficult to pick up, because the signal obtained by the sensor changes variably when scanning on some positions in the area of defect. A new eigenvalue named “Position Point of Intersection” is proposed to solve this problem. The result of experiment shows that the new eigenvalue is not influenced by the changing signal while the better stability and higher precision of detection is obtained.
