Abstract

The provisions of ultrasonic testing in drill collar standard-1997(SY/T 5144—1997) were simple and no details. When the standard is used, there are certain different opinions and it can not meet the using requirements. Therefore the problem of reference samples in the standard will be analyzed hereinafter.
